POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Manager’s key responsibility is to be an integral member of the Sales team that is responsible for regional sales and member growth in all dental and vision product lines through direct and indirect sales for a specific region. Additionally, he/she manages and communicates product information between Paramount and its client base including agents, consultants, potential and existing employers, and other organizations. Will lead Regional Product projects and operations to enable exemplary standards for customer service, member retention, and new member growth. At all times, this position is a key element towards representing and carrying forth the Paramount Experience and Company culture.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for the development & and organizational efforts focusing on member and client growth, distribution channel creation and management, broker /agent /consultant motivation.
  • Participating with Sales team in the product planning and sales execution throughout the product lifecycle including defining the product vision, marketing of the products, and working with Operations to ensure revenue and member satisfaction goals are met.
  • The Regional Sales Manager’s job includes ensuring that the marketing & sales of the product supports the company’s overall strategy, goals, and long-range plans.
  • The Regional Sales Manager owns the responsibility for the success and the ability of the distribution channel to deliver Paramount’s plans and sales growth for a region or territory. Regional Sales Manager may also be assigned a specific accountabilities for sales and growth initiatives, including new product lines for emerging markets, or Medicare expansion.
  • The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for using Paramount’s sales tools (SalesForce), Zellis, CORE and reporting to Director of Sales key issues/challenges of ongoing responsibility functions. Adherence to Sales goals and budget and deadlines are direct responsibilities
  • Identify improvements to cycles and work flows to support rapid member growth & customer satisfaction. Provide marketing ideas, market intelligence to assure Paramount is competitive, dynamic, and cutting edge. Be the “face” and “voice” of the Paramount Brand.
  • Focus is on products and solutions serving the strategic needs within the healthcare market and the creation of new market opportunities
  • Development of enhancements to existing products and development of new, innovative products within targeted markets to maintain Paramount Brand & leadership position.
  • Responsible for meeting sales goals.
  • Responsible for problem solving issues with regard to plan information, enrollment, billing, and member experience


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: College degree required (BA/BS)

Skills: Maintain and exhibit excellent verbal communication skills and responsiveness to client base at all times. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)

Years of Experience: at least 2+ years of experience in Sales in the healthcare field.

Certification: Health insurance license required within the first three months of the first year of employment

This position will cover the Cincinnati, Ohio (Southern Ohio) territory.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing

Skills: Background with data management and the analysis of cost and functionality of current business processes and results. Superior skills for developing strategic planning and setting and attaining sales goals. Excellent skills for communication, reporting and task planning.


ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

Cost understanding of product delivery and operational overhead for efficient distribution process. Leadership skills are helpful with focus on a competitive environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Travel capabilities that requires individual mode of transportation to manage the sales territory. Requires carrying a laptop to meeting locations. Requires packing and carrying product information and supplies to events
